Well it’s that time of year again: New Years, for another year in review see below for a wide array of media, educational + entertainment, highlights, lowlights and hardlights, best of lists, meme-of-the-year and even a tweet-of-the-year if you look far enough you’ll find it, for the 2015 annum:

TELEVISION – aside from politics (House of Commons, Ontario Parliament, Toronto City Council) some notable shows watched included The Jinx, Ray Donovan, Minority Report, Game of Thrones, Gotham, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Quantico, The Leftovers, Banshee, Marvel Agents of Shield,

LOWLIGHTs OF THE YEAR – the passing of Roddy Piper following a great podcast run on PodcastOne ended in controversy on Pipers Pit. The highly anticipated debut of the legendary Sting in the WWE was distorted at Wrestlemania into a NWO vs DX nostalgia angle who’s team didn’t make sense and then the Night of Champions wreck, where’s the respect? The bigger picture:

Overall the feeling like we’re on the brink of WW3 in news, politics, and global events, is heightening like the plans of Pike and Mazzini, the exposures of all levels of the conspiracy overwhelm the attentive.

HARDLIGHTS – In the winter’s freeze surviving re-surgery at area hospital, metal removal recovery around the time of #LLAP toast to Leonard Nimoy, known as Mr. Spock, and with the spring thaw the live long and prosper began to ultra with a new bottle of RnA Drops more…

Surprise of the Year

The retirement of Matt Mernagh from T.M.Z. on PotTV officially announced on the last week of the year, tied directly to Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau adding legalization of marijuana to his throne speech. The Mernahuana Zone was one of the only livestream shows I’d watch regularly, luckily the word is the show will carry-on with a next generation in some similar format. As a player of the weekly webcast game ‘weight is right’ almost every week this year, and winning four times. Til then we can look forward to a big victory party announced for 420 next year in Toronto.

Book of the Year

‘Easy Street (The Hard Way)’ by Ron Pearlman, legendary actor tells his life story and officially liked my tweet-of-the-year endorsement post!

Runner-up ‘The Only Average Guy’ by John Filion, City Councilor provides an inside view on former-Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford
