Toronto Pan-Am Scams $4.5 million for BMX track

Toronto City Council is on a Pan-Am Games spending spree with less than a year to go until games, word of the actual costs are leaking out. In this clip council talks about a BMX course in Centennial Park, Etobicoke, originally estimated at $1.5 million is actually costing $4.5 million:

This is a controversial issue in terms of the Pan-Am Games overall cost of $2.5 billion (estimated), the official site currently lists Venue: To Be Announced on the BMX page.

One thing is for sure the pot-holes are real and noticeable throughout the City. Even the current Mayor of Toronto admits that the potholes situation is worst ever seen on the streets of Toronto crater-town:
